This page is placed on the Myford web site as a courtesy to Myford parents who utilize CDC services. However, the CDC is a separate company operating on the Myford campus and is not endorsed, managed or controlled by Myford Elementary or the Tustin School District. Founded in 1969, Child Development Inc operates 166 early care and education centers throughout the State of California, that serve over 15,000 children birth through twelve years of age. We offer a variety of infant/toddler, preschool and school age programs funded by parent fees and the California Department of Education. We work with 36 school districts throughout the State to provide before and after school programs, including homework assistance and kindergarten readiness programs to families.

Academic and Educational Enrichment Program

We are committed to supporting your child's academic endeavors. Our goal is to partner with you to meet the needs of your child's academic development. Our Academic Support Program has four components:

• Homework Help: We have enhanced our homework area with the materials and supplies your child needs to complete his or her homework. We have included time in our afternoon schedule to give your child support with his/her daily homework.
• School Project Help: We have resources and staff available to help students with their long-term project assignments. We will store projects that are on their way to completion or students can take their projects home for further work.
• Support for Individual Student's Needs: We are willing to work with you and your child's classroom teacher to develop and follow through with plans that support his/her individual needs. A communication system can be implemented to support clarification of homework assignments, if needed.
• Support the School's Academic Goals: Our staff will partner with elementary school teachers and/or your principal to help the school, and each child, achieve their academic goals.

We make it convenient for you to pick up your children at the same time, regardless of what time they get out of school. Our activities and projects are based on children's needs, strengths and interests. We offer a well-equipped, safe, home-like environment. Half-Day Preschool Now Enrolling for 8:30am to 12:30pm

Preschool is the time to experience the world in a new and exciting way! We provide a safe, home-like environment that supports hands-on learning, self-directed investigations, and imaginative play. Our supporting and caring staff attends to your child's unique interests and needs. Our curriculum introduces math, science, language, and social skills, giving children the foundation that prepares them for elementary school.
