Tustin Unified School District is pleased to announce administrative appointments beginning July 1 for the 2023–2024 school year.
Please join us in celebrating these remarkable employees for their dedication to our students, staff and campuses at our Classified Celebration on May 15.
Dr. Jon Tuin, principal at Tustin High School, will be retiring from the Tustin Unified School District at the end of the school year, effective June 30, 2023. Dr. Tuin has served in public education for more than 39 years. He joined the Tustin Unified School District in 2017 as principal of Tustin High School.
In honor of National School Counseling Week, we are honored to celebrate our outstanding school counselors.
The Tustin Unified School District is excited to celebrate six of our schools, Heritage Elementary, Hicks Canyon Elementary, Myford Elementary, Red Hill Elementary, Tustin Memorial Academy and Orchard Hills School, honored as 2023 California Distinguished Schools.

Hicks Canyon's Annual Egg Drop gives students the chance to apply their understanding of forces and gravity as they design a vessel to protect their egg during its two-story descent. And, at Legacy Memorial Academy, students connect and build community through production of their Broadway revue. In Myford’s library, Mountain Lions have access to a vast collection of titles, in multiple languages, organized to inspire curiosity and connect students to books they will love. And Pioneer's PAL program was recently celebrated by OCDE for their impact on campus. Enjoy highlights from another great week in TUSD!
